1841, 22 February: Michael Logue, born 1817, 24, per Neptune 1838, was admitted to Parramatta Gaol (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Description Book, Parramatta 1839-1842). 1841, 31 May: Michael Logue, born 1817, 24, per Neptune 1838, was admitted to Parramatta Gaol from the ironed gang at Parramatta. He was then sent to the Stockade at Parramatta on 1 June (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Description Book, Parramatta 1839-1842). 1846, 12 February: Admitted to Newcastle Jail and discharged to the Police Office on 17 February (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Discharges Newcastle 1840-1846). 1846, 3 April: Granted a CERTIFICATE OF FREEDOM No.46/348. His native place is listed as Lifford, County Donegal (see New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867; (NRS 12210) Butts of Certificates of Freedom 1846 April, All Records). 1847, 12 February: Michael Lougue or Loague per Neptune (1838), free, was admitted to Newcastle Gaol on remand. He was sent to the Police Office on 17 February. His behaviour was described as "orderly" (see NSW Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Entrance Book Newcastle 1846-1859).


1838: Michael Logue, born 1815, 22, per Neptune 1838 was admitted to Parramatta Jail (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Description Book, Parramatta 1837-1839). 1838, 30 July: Michael Lague, born 1815, 23, per Neptune 1838, was admitted to Windsor Gaol, Sydney (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Description Book, Windsor 1838). 1840, 28 September: Michael Logue, born 1817, 23, per Neptune 1838, was admitted to Parramatta Gaol and placed in the cells for 14 days. he was sent back to Parramatta on 25 November [to the iron gang?] (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Description Book, Parramatta 1839-1842). 1840: Michael Logue, born 1817, 23, per Neptune 1838, was admitted to Berrima Jail, Berrima. From there he was returned to the Government (see New South Wales, Australia, Gaol Description and Entrance Books, 1818-1930; Berrima 1840-1847).


Michael LOAGUE was 22 on arrival in NSW. He could not read or write. A Roman Catholic, he was single and his native place was Co Donegal. He had no previous convictions (see NSW Convict Indents, 1788-1842; Non-Annotated Printed Indentures 1838).


1837, 15 August: Michael LOAGUE was admitted to Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin, from Donegal (prisoner #674). He had been tried on 26 June 1837, convicted and sentenced to 7 years for larceny [charge on Indents is stealing a shirt] by Jonathan Hesse Esq. He was described as 23, 5’6” tall with hazel eyes, brown hair and a fresh complexion. 1837, 19 August: Discharged to be “embarked on the convict ship Neptune” (see Ireland, Prison Registers, 1790-1924; Dublin, Kilmainham 1815-1910).
