Joseph Mandell was 19 years old when transported for stealing a box. 29/8/1832: Assigned to Francis Forbes. 12/1/1838: Age 25, 5'2 3/4" tall, sallow complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, broad nose, man anchor and JM on right arm, fish on left arm. Absconded from Sir Francis Forbes since 5/12/1837 1/8/1838: Apprehended. 1842: TOL Moreton Bay 1845: TOL Moreton Bay 1/2/1847: COF 1854: TOL Ipswich 20/11/1847: Joseph Mandell, a bullock driver, charged Frederick Bracker for refusing to pay wages due to him at Warwick, QLD. 13/10/1849: Was charged with steeling tallow and sheep skins at Drayton (Moreton Bay Courier) to be tried in Sydney. Found no details of the trial.
