NSW Convict Index. Mary Hurley, alias Murley, McAlister, McAllister. per Woodman, 1823, Certificate of Freedom, 16 Nov 1831, No 31/1108. Transported to Norfolk Island as Mary McAlister; wife of John McAllister, per Lord Eldon, 1817 fbs (as stated on her CF).

The Court was then ocupied durlng several hours with the trial of John M'Allister, for theft, when, after a full investigation into the circumstances of the case, by the evidence of the witnesses  adduced in support of the ?? Oliphant having addressed the Jury in ?? prisoner they found a verdict of Guilty,  and he was sentenced to seven years transportation.   Caledonian Mercury, 28 Sep 1816.
