Family connections for Mary (Mccormick) are: Some amendments added Aug 2025. MCCORMICK Mary (McCormi/ack) was born about 1805 in Londonderry Derry co. Ireland & became a servant. She was tried for stealing money at Londonderry Ireland in 1825, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 4 2 1827 after a voyage of 4months on BROTHERS; she was Catholic. An application was made on 24 8 1827 to marry (her first marriage) John (Wilson his first marriage) shoemaker at Newcastle, which she did on 20 11 1827 at Christ Church Newcastle. She was recorded at Sydney/Parramatta Female Factory in 1830. Some details taken from this Website] John (Wilson) was born about 1797. He was tried at Norfolk Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 16 8 1820 after a voyage of 4.5months on EARL ST VINCENT. He was a shoemaker Free by Servitude by 1829 & on 3 3 1829 he made application to marry secondly Jane (Moore) which he did on 23 3 1829 at St Phillips CofE Sydney.
