Eleanor married Jonathan Griffiths (Convict, Scarborough, 1790). They married at Hawkesbury February 1796. In the next 16 years they had a family of 9 children.
Johnathan did very well at a number of businesses and eventually had a home in both Launceston, Van Diemens Land and Richmond, New South Wales.  Eleanor and Jonathan moved back and forth between the two properties.  Jonathan became the richest man in Tasmania before he died.
