Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Duchess of Northumberland arriving 1853. Ship's Report: very good, industrious. Aged 26yrs; married, 1 child; 5'1"; laundress; Protestant; can read & write. Native Place: Argyleshire, Scotland. Husband: Alexander Father: David or Daniel Mother: Ellen Sisters: Flora & Margaret Brothers: John, James, Duncan, David. Assignment of work services. Ticket of Leave 29 Aug 1854 Conditional Pardon 26 Feb 1856 Application for Permission to Marry: 13 Feb 1855 - to James COPE. Approved subject to Clergy being satisfied. (Does not appear to have proceeded.) Application for Permission to Marry: 4 Dec 1855 - to George FROST. Married to George FROST at Hobart. (Ref. 37/1/14 no. 385) Children: female child FROST born at Campbell Town, Tas. 15 Jan 1856. female child FROST born at Campbell Town, Tas. 4 Aug 1860. Isabella FROST died at Campbell Town 15 Oct 1862. Husband - George Frost. Inquest states cause of death was of natural causes. (n.b. there was also a Bell FROST (husband Edward Frost) also living in this district.)
