McKeon Ann 25 ship ‘Alexander’ (1816) convicted 1815 Meath Co 7 years born 1791 Servant.

In the colony, Ann must have been shifted almost immediately to Van Diemens Land.
She married Alexander Seaton (Second Fleet Convict, Scarborough, 1790).
Alexander, was actually already married to Eleanor Davis (Third Fleet Convict, Mary Ann, 1791) but estranged from his wife.
He was currently a private in the 46th Regiment and serving in Van Diemens Land.

Not long after Jane and Alexander were married, he was killed whilst on duty at Herdsman’s Cove, October 1817.
Sydney Gazette Sat 28 Mar 1818:
FRIDAY. - Thomas Williams, indicted for the wilful murder of Alexander Seaton, a private in the 46th Regiment, on the 20th of October last, at Herdsman’s Cove, Van Diemens Land, who found guilty of manslaughter ; and in consideration of the circumstances of the case, was sentenced to two months imprisonment.
