Circuit intelligence. Alexander M'Pherson, alias Blrrell, or Burrell, from Forfirshire, was next placed at the bar, accused of theft and breaking open lockfast places; he pleaded Guilty, and was sentenced to transportation beyond seas for the Space of 14 years. Perthshire Courier, 11 May 1820. Alexander McPherson or Birrell, Peter Garland, and William Wyton, who received sentence of Transportation at last Circuit, were yesterday sent off from the jail this city, under strong escort, by the ? for Dundee, from which place they will be conveyed by one of the smacks to the hulks. Second Colonial Conviction: Crim Court, Sydney, 11 June 1830, Felony, Seven years. Returned to Sydney, 21 July 1837.
