TRIAL: 21 October, 1852: Hugh Morris was convicted at Carnarvon, at the Michaelmas Quarter Sessions, and sentenced to 10 years for theft from a vessel; a previous conviction (in December 1850 for which he was jailed for 12 months) was taken into account (England & Wales, Criminal Registers, 1791-1892 for Hugh Morris; Wales; Caernarvonshire; 1852). --0--
