Register of Courts Martial Private Fras. Murphy, 31st Regt, Tried at Malta, 24 Mar 1809, Proceedings laid before the King, 14 June 1809, Desertion from the Quarters of his Regt in Malta, Sentence, Transported as a Felon beyond the seas for 10 years & to be marked with the letter D. HM approved of the transportation but not to the marking, because there was no proof of his having before deserted.
