ADM 101/24/31827-1828 Medical and surgical journal of the Elizabeth convict Ship, for 6 July 1827 to 26 January 1828 by Joseph H Hughes, Surgeon, during which time the said Elizabeth was employed in transporting female convicts from Ireland to Sydney, New South Wales. Folios 1-2: Bridget Murray, aged 40, Convict; disease or hurt, irritable ulcer on the right leg, painful with a sanious discharge. Put on sick list, 14 August 1827. Discharged, 25 December 1827 [folio 16]. Folios 12-13: Bridget Murray, aged 40, Convict; continued treatment of the large ulcer on her left leg and of diarrhoea from getting wet on deck on 9 November 1827. Folio 16: Bridget Murray [aged 40, Convict], discharged from the sick list, 25 December 1827, after a tedious and incessant attention to her ulcer.
