Sarah NINES was convicted at Exeter, Devon for receiving stolen property. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ship ‘Mary’ arriving 19 Oct 1831.

Married woman, 4 children.
Aged 27yrs.
Native place of birth: Island of Guernsey

Assigned to work services. Some notes of misconduct.
Some time spent at the Female House of Correction, Hobart.

1835: Application for permission to marry - to William MORRIS.

7 March 1836: Application for permission to marry - to George HAMBLETON.

2 May 1836: Marriage - to George Hambleton. Hobart. (ref. 36/1/3 no. 3257)
