Thomas PARDINGTON was convicted at Warwick, England on 3 Aug 1837. Life sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship "Moffatt" arriving there 1 April 1838. Married man, 3 children. Native place of birth: Redditch, Warwick, England. VDL: Assigned to work duties. 7 Nov 1839: Govt gardener - misconduct. To cells on bread & water for 6 days. 14 June 1844: 3rd class status. 14 April 1846: Ticket of Leave granted. DEATH: 22 July 1868 Thomas PARDINGTON died at Brickfields Depot, Hobart. Aged 80 yrs; pauper; diarrhea. (ref. 35/1/7 no. 7443).
