Convict Notes
He was originally sentenced to death but this was commuted to transportation. He was married to Hannah Belton on 27 March 1818 in Headley, All Saints, Hampshire. (Parish Register). I have also read the log of the medical officer on the Elizabeth, Henry is mentioned with ailments. Hannah remarried in 1826, at the 2nd attempt, having been refused in 1823, same spouse. Henry may well have been alive meanwhile. He was born at Easton, nr Winchester
