Another convict Patrick Quigley (1786 1866) arrived on Sophia 17 Jan 1828 (life). He had married Mary McDonough/Macormack (1792-1861) in Ireland and she emigrated on the Diamond (arr 29 Nov 1837) with her children Bridget(1817-), Catherine (1823-), Patrick (1827-) and Maryanne (1816-1863) (who married convict Henry Gibb/Gibbs 1793-1883).

Patrick Quigley was 28 years old when transported and his occupation was a "Tinman/Soldier", and he came from Limerick. 23/6/1838: Patrick was sent to Norfolk Island after have been convicted for bushranging and robbery. 18/1/1845: Arrived in VDL from Norfolk Island. Patrick was RC, could not read or write, 5'5 1/4" tall, aged 46 at this time, dark sallow complexion, dark brown hair, black whiskers, hazel eyes, and single. 29/12/1846: TOL 8/4/1851: CP 1863: Married Christina Green, she was 53, at Westbury. 5/11/1872: Died aged 75 at Westbury, Tasmania.
