WARNING!! There were two convicts with the name ‘William Reynolds’ transported on ships of the third Fleet. This one was transported on ‘Admiral Barrington’ and the other one on the ‘Matilda’. Please ensure which one you are researching—I have them both in my family tree!!!

The Muster records do give some further information.. 1806... [A3669] William Reynolds, Admiral Barrington, rents 10 acres from G Carr. [B0143] William Reynolds... Farm Details. In the colony, William had a de-facto relationship with Mary Madden (Convict, Anne, 1801). This relationship must have commenced about 1813. Prior to this time, Mary had a relationship with Thomas Ambrose (Convict, Scarborough, 1790) and had several children by him. Mary and William had 1 child, George Reynolds, born 1814.
