Supreme Criminal Court, Monday, February 27th. Charles Patient, Peter Roberts, Duncan McCallum, William Morrison, William Corbett, John Clark and Thomas Bennett, as accessory after the fact, were indicted under the statute of the 3rd of William and Mary, for a robbery in the house of Mr. William Hayes, at South Creek, in the district of Melville, and putting the inmates in bodily fear, on the 26th. day of January last. the property carried off consisted of two notes for 100 dollars each, some smaller notes and spanish dollars, a silver watch, various articles of jewellery, a silver soup ladle and some silver tea spoons, a chest of tea, a cask of tobacco, 24 blankets, 12 pairs of sheets, a number of books, some firearms and a quantity of wearing apparel to a considerable amount., &c. ...
