The Suffolk Chronicle; or Weekly General Advertiser & County Express Suffolk, England 21 Oct 1848 WOODBRIDGE DIVISION Sarah Ann Shimmen, 22, pleaded guilty to the charge of having stolen a silver tea spoon, the property of Joseph Benjamin Harvey, of Woodbridge. She was sentenced to seven years' transportation, a previous conviction of felony being proved against her. Sarah Ann Sheming was listed as 23 years old on arrival. Place of Birth: Suffolk. Sarah Ann was literate, unmarried, protestant, 5'4ΒΌ" tall, dark complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, large upper teeth, freckled. 2/3/1852: Permission to marry Robert Hull (free). 22/3/1852: Married at St. Mark's Church, Pontville. Sarah Ann was 22 and Robert was 30.
