Ann Mary or Mary Ann Stewart, age 25, per Brothers (2) 1827, Tried at Londonderry, 1825, 7 years sentence, stealing cloth, 2 former convictions, Native of Antrim, protestant, dairy woman, single, DOB 1802. ----------------------------------------------------- ADM 101/13/7. Medical and surgical journal of the Brothers convict ship for 13 August 1826 to 15 February 1827 by James Forrester [Toncster?], Surgeon and Superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed in transporting female convicts to New South Wales. Folios 5-6: M A Stewart, aged 23; case number 5; disease or hurt, diarrhoea. Put on sick list, 26 November 1826. Discharged 5 December 1826 well. ------------------------------------------------- Mary Ann received her C.O.F. but later lost it and advertised accordingly. She married William Wilson. CAUTION. THE undersigned having LOST her CERTIFICATE OF FREEDOM, hereby cautions all Constables and others against molesting her after this notice. DESCRIPTION. Name, Mary Ann Stewart; ship Brothers (2nd), 1827; sentence 7 years; native place Antrim ; height 5ft 4 ¾ in.; hair brown ; eyes hazel; complexion fair; nail of left fore finger broken ; scar of burn on right arm, and scar of burn on right eye; wife to William Wilson free by servitude.
