1/12/1843: Sydney Gazette: Government Notice, saying John's sentence was for 7 years and not 14 years as erroneously stated in the Indent. John was, a Tailor, 5'2 tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. Assigned to Major Fraser, of Broulee on 24/4/1841, whose residence and that of the prisoner, is not at present known. 1844: TOL Yass 13/2/1845: COF

Born on Millport Isle of Cumbrae to William Templeton. Died "sudden death" in Australia - cause unknown.
