Thomas Rutter was transported on the Henry, departing 31st Mar 1823 and arriving 26th Aug 1823 with 161 passengers.
Henry 1825. The ship Henry, Captain Ferrier, arrived at Hobart Town, on the 9th ult. with 79 female prisoners, all whom were landed with the exception of two. There were also on board 25 free women, and 33 children, who came out, at the expence of Government, to join their husbands and parents. Sydney Gazette, 3 Mar 1825.

Thomas was 20 years old when indicted (along with Rober Rice aged 14) for stealing 1 coat, value 6s., and 1 pair of breeches, value 4s., the goods of Thomas Tomlinson. 29/8/1823: Forwarded to Airds for distribution. 1828: Assigned to J T Lamb - Thomas was a labourer. 11/9/1829: COF 22/10/1841: COF Renewed. Feb. 1832: Thomas , aged 30 and free, married Isabella Farrier (Edward) aged 21 and on Bond at Newcastle. 12/5/1855: Thomas and Isabella were fined and had 48 hours in the cells for being drunk. 25/11/1863: Thomas died at Morpeth. Isabella died in Sydney in 1876.
