Richard Turpin was 33 years old when transported. He came from Galway County, Ireland but was living in London with his wife and 2 children.
He was transported for killing and slaying Sarah Turpin, a baby, 1 month old. He had been drinking and was in the act of throwing his wife’s clothes out the window, not knowing the child was amonst them. The child died half and hour later. He also had a son 3-4 years old.
Many different ages with Richard.
