John 1st arrived in Sydney Cove on the 25th November 1827. 185 Male convicts. of which 7 were sent to the hospital, 3 Died. Surgeon Superintendent- Died on the voyage . John - 1836/1837 Voyage. Medical Journal was lost on the homeward passage by the shipwreck of the Ship "Medora' There is an index only.

George Twigg was 24 years old when transported for "Stealing Crockery". His occupation was a "Biscuit firer & Potter". 6/11/1838: COF 9/6/1845: Married Margaret Kelly (per Granada 1824). Margaret had been married to Francis Allman (Canada 1819). Margaret had children with Francis but not with George. George was a brickmaker and living in Newtown at the time of his death. 7/12/1862: George died of Paralysis and is buries at St Stephen, Church of England, Newwtown.
