Northampton shire QS. John Waters, aged 28, charged with stealing, at Brackley, certain wearing apparel, the property of Thomas Swallow. Guilty. Seven Years' Transportation. Northampton Mercury, 1 July 1848.
Possibly the son of John and Elizabeth Waters of Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire. Convict Indent has mother’s name as Mary, however the names of the siblings (Brothers - Charles, Thomas, Daniel & George and Sister Susannah) from the Indent match the children of John and Elizabeth.
