Prison Hulk Record HO 9-8-3 p.39 Received (3 prisoners) from New Sarum, 8 Sept 1815. Michael Welsh, age 20, convicted of a felony at New Sarum 8 July 1815, convicted to 14 years transportation. NSW - date not clear.

At the Wilts Assizes, Dennis Haley and Michael Welsh, for robbing Daniel and Richard Ingram on the highway; and Stephen Mitchell, for stealing a gelding, the property of Benjamin Fear, received sentence of death, but were afterwards reprieved. Norfolk Chronicle, 29 July 1815.
