Abraham Stapleton and Mary Woodward had at least 3 children. Mary, Charlotte and Abraham Stapleton junior travelled with Mary Ann Stapleton (nee Woodward) on the Clyde in 1834. They had obviously come to be near father, Abraham .

Abraham West was in fact Abraham Stapleton, the brother of Francis Stapleton (also John 1832). Both were transported for stealing 2 horses. Abraham uses "West" as an alias. 1840: TOL Raymond Terrace 1843: TOL Goulburn 20/12/1848: COF Married Mary Woodward ()Died 11/11/1855 aged 55) and had 1 daughter, Charlotte. 4/5/1871: Abraham died at Wollondilly, Goulburn aged 73. He died of starvation and Exhaustion.
