Robert was 28 years old and was transported for 'stealing gowns and wearing apparel' along with Archibald Pretty - on board. Robert was born at Shardlow, Derbyshire, was married to Millicent and had 2 children, was 56 1/2" tall, could read, protestant, dark complexion, brown hair, light hazel eyes, scars. 12/1/1849: TOL 21/10/1852: Free Certificate. 6/6/1853: aged 40, married Bridget Kearney (Australasia 1849) - they had 6 children. Robert died of glandular degeneration of the kitneys as Hobart Hospital.
