Joseph was 22 years old on arrival, his native place was Birmingham.  He was transported for ‘stealing 5 ducks, 3 rabbits and 16 fowls from a malthouse’.

Joseph was 5’3 1/2” tall, reads and writes a little, single,

Brothers: David, John, Frederick - at native place.

21/5/1867: Married Mary Ann Burgess, aged 15 born 1851 and died 5/9/1890 aged 38.  Joseph was 35 - at the house of William Watts - registered at Deloraine.
