County of Antrim Assizes. ... Mary Whiteside for stealing piece of calico, the property, of A. H. Thornton at Belfast, on 8th January. last. Thornton was sitting in the parlour on 8th January, when the prisoner came into the shop and took a parcel of goods off this... witness followed her outside the door, and got the goods on her. Guilty,-- Belfast News-Letter, 26 March 1830.

Certificate of Freedom 29 April 1837 Married David Williams 13 October 1832 in Sydney. Her marriage record indicates that she was a widow. Whiteside is not likely to be her maiden name.
