County of Antrim Assizes. ... Mary Whiteside for stealing piece of calico, the property, of A. H. Thornton at Belfast, on 8th January. last. Thornton was sitting in the parlour on 8th January, when the prisoner came into the shop and took a parcel of goods off this... witness followed her outside the door, and got the goods on her. Guilty,-- Belfast News-Letter, 26 March 1830.
