Mary Wickham was transported on the Charlotte, departing 13th May 1787 and arriving 22nd Jan 1788 with 111 passengers.

Being 335 tons, 105 ft long and 28 ft at the beam, The Charlotte held 88 male and 20 female convicts. Built in 1784 and Skippered by Master Thomas Gilbert, her return to England saw her doing the London - Jamacia run until she was sold to a Quebec merchant in 1818 and was then lost off the coast of Newfoundland that very same year.

Mary was tried 2/8/1783 for receiving stolen goods. She was about 35 years old at that time. 17/2/1788: Married John Silverthorn (Alexander 1788) – they had 1 child, John born in October 1789 and died 27/11/1789. Mary died in 1789.
