William Woods was transported on the Henry, departing 31st Mar 1823 and arriving 26th Aug 1823 with 161 passengers.
Henry 1825. The ship Henry, Captain Ferrier, arrived at Hobart Town, on the 9th ult. with 79 female prisoners, all whom were landed with the exception of two. There were also on board 25 free women, and 33 children, who came out, at the expence of Government, to join their husbands and parents. Sydney Gazette, 3 Mar 1825.

Laurel Moodie...this is my gggg grandfather as well. I am wondering which one of his children was your line? Mine comes through his first daughter Ellen born around 1831. William Woods (and his entire family) are listed in the Maitland Family History Circle Pre 1900 Pioneer Register as entry No 1637. I believe his occupation was a Carrier rather than an Errand boy.
