Hertfordshire Assizes. ... Thomas Wren, for stealing a bundle of linen from John Cresswell, at Welwyn ; ... Cambridge Chronicle, 26 July 1822. On Monday last, six male convicts were removed from Hertford County Jail  on board the Ganymede hulk at Chatham, viz. J. Gillen and Henry Seggs, to be transported for life ; and Peter Parrott, John Olney , Thomas Wells, and Thomas Wren, for seven years each.  Sun (London), 6 Nov 1822. Hulk Records.
