Convicted as 'Ninian Allan' at the Perth Court of Justiciary along with Alexander Preston (also on board) and who was sent to VDL in 1819. Both lived in Edinburgh. Colonial Secretary: ALLAN, Nerrian. Per "Tottenham", 1818 1818 Oct 20: On list of convicts disembarked from the "Tottenham" and forwarded to Parramatta for distribution; listed as Neal Allan 1821 Aug 22: On list of prisoners transported to Newcastle per "Mermaid" 1822 Mar: On lists of persons forming roads under the direction of James Johnson, overseer, from 21 Oct 1818 to 2 Mar 1822; listed as Neil Allen 1823 May: On monthly return of prisoners punished at Newcastle; for neglect of work at Glebe Farm.
