Death of his wife Annie. https://libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/RGD35-1-15/RGD35-1-15P21 9 June 1895, Annie Birchall, aged 60, Warder’s wife, died at Cascades, born in England, Cause of death, Hemeplegia. The informant was the Undertaker. BIRCHALL - On Sunday, June 9th [1895], at the Cascades, Annie, the beloved wife of Samuel Birchall, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude. Funeral will leave her late residence on WEDNESDAY, June 12th, at 2 p.m. R I P. Tasmanian News, 11 June 1895.
