Charles is 23yoa, he can read and is Protestant. Occupation is Bricklayer & Lime Burner. Charged with stealing pigeons on the 17 Oct 1835/6 and sentenced to 7 years. His appearance is 5' 4 1/2', fair complexion, light hair and grey eyes. No scars noted. Ships sick log states - Charles Hill, aged 25, convict; sick or hurt, scorbutus (scurvy); put on sick list 15 August 1837, discharged 24 September 1837 cured. He obtained his Certificate of Freedom 14 Jul 1845 • New South Wales, Australia
