Family connections for Charlotte (Williams) are: WILLIAMS Charlotte (Williams) was born about 1774/83. She was tried at Surrey Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 12 1801 after a voyage of 6.5months on Fleet ship NILE; she was Protestant. She was an emancipist age24 when she married William (Hibbert) emancipist on 25/6 5 1807 at St Johns CofE Parramatta & produced 8children. She was recorded in 1828 with Ticket of Leave at Parramatta with some of her family. She died on 5 4 1841 age abot67. [Some details taken from this Website] William (Hibba/e/urd/ert) was born probably at Walton on Thames Surrey about 1758 & became a harness/collar maker. He was tried for recieving coach glasses stolen by William (Jones) & Thomas (Hall) at probably Old Bailey, sentenced to 14years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 20 11 1800 after a voyage of 9months on ROYAL ADMIRAL; he was 5’7” Protestant fair complexion brown hair grey eyes. He was Free by Servitude by 1807. He was recorded in 1807 & 1808 as harness maker obtaining funds from Gregory & John (Blaxland). He was recorded in 1809 at Parramatta on stores from Hawkesbury & on a list of grants & leases. He was issued a spirit licence in February 1811. In 1823 he had an allotment in Parramatta. He was recorded in 1823-5 as harness maker with Conditional Pardon at Parramatta. He was recorded in 1828 as harness maker at Parramatta with some of his family. In the colony, Charlotte married William Hibbard (Convict, Royal Admiral, 1800). William Hibbard of the parish of St John Parramatta and Charlotte Williams of ditto were married in this church by banns this twenty fifth day of May in the year one thousand eight hundred and seven by me Henry Fulton. William Hibbard signed the register and Charlotte made her X mark in the presence of George Mealmaker and Jane Camm who both signed the register. The couple had 7 children between 1804 and 1816.
