"Peter Hallam had a brother called Percy George Hallam he also married a woman called Jane Watson." This incorrect, he didn't have a brother Percy George HALLAM and it was his son George Sheridan HALLAM who married Jane/Jean WATSON. His parents were Peter HALLAM a Gun Maker and his mother Ann PLATTS. His family were originally from Grindleford Bridge via Eyam, Derbyshire, England.
Peter Dudley Hallam was the son of Peter Hallam and Mary Ann Platz. 1843: TOL Moreton Bay 25/3/1844: Married Fanny (Frances) Willis. Fanny arrived free with her mother and stepfather per 'Heber' in 1839. Peter and Fanny had 13 children. 6/8/1852: COF. Peter was a grazier of Alice Downs Station at Blackall, QLD. 22/5/1882: Peter died in the Mitchell and Warrego Hospital, Tambo QLD. 1910: Fanny died at Longreach.
Settled at Ipswich where he farmed later became a grazier living in North Queensland.
