1837, 17 August: Francis HARVEY was admitted to Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin, having been sentenced to 7 years for larceny on 30 June 1837 by P Fogarty Esq. He was prisoner #678, 34 years old, 5’6” with grey eyes, fair hair and a fair complexion. He was discharged on 26 August to go aboard the Neptune (see Ireland, Prison Registers, 1790-1924; Dublin, Kilmainham 1836-1910).

1838: On arrival in NSW, Francis HARVEY was listed as 30 years old. His native place was Tyrone County. He was married, a Roman Catholic and could read and write. He had no previous convictions (see New South Wales, Australia, Convict Indents, 1788-1842; Non-Annotated Printed Indentures, 1838).
