Transported for habitual drunkenness and striking his superior officer. Gaol Report, None, Hulk report Good. Single. Stated this offence, Drunk and striking my superior officer, once for ? My horse? Once drunk on guard, 6 weeks, 500 lashes, received 350 lashes for ? Recorded in his favor for his highly praiseworthy conduct upon the occasion of an attempt at Mutiny on board the Convict ship Sarah when upon her passage from England, in giving information and maintaining discipline of the ship, by which the attempt was happily frustrated. Vide Memo Princ. Supt. 6 April 1837. Various offences recorded.
