Convict Notes
John Pett was transported along with his brother Henry (also on board the Norfolk) for stealing fowls. Gaol Report: disposition appears quiet, addicted to Drunkenness connected with Smugglers convicted & imprisoned, tried for Sheep Stealing and acquitted. John was 29 years old on arrival, he was 5’7” tall, blue eyes, black hair, sallow complexion, single, large scar on throat.- lost for mid: & ring fingers rt hand. 1835 Muster: Assigned to B. Horne Esq. 1843: Free Certificate.
