At Launceston, Joseph Gallagher, per Equestrian 3, F.S., tried at Campbell Town on 8 Jan 1872 for larceny, served 3 months, native of Manchester, 42 yrs, 5 feet 5 1/2 inches, light brown hair, letter J on left arm. Tasmania Police Gazette, 12th Apr 1872, p63.
