Family connections for George (Lewis) are: LEWIS George (Lewis) was born about 1778. He may have been relation of Richard (Lewis COROMANDEL 1802). He was tried at Surrey Quarter Sessions, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7months on COROMANDEL; he was Protestant. He was Free by Servitude when he married Sarah Ann (Frederick age about11 seems unlikely) on 4 7 1808 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He was recorded in 1828 with his family as a farmer on 40acres at Evan. He was recorded in 1829 as a farmer. He died on 5 12 1857 age79. [Some details taken from this Website] Sarah Ann (Frederick) was born in 1797 in England. She arrived in NSW with her parents on 11 3 1803 after a voyage of 6months on HMS GLATTON. George was transported on the ship "Coromandel" and arrived in the colony 11th June 1802. In the colony, he married Sarah Ann Frederick in 1808. at St Phillips, Sydney. Sarah Ann came free on the "Glatton" in 1803. They had a large family of 12 children between 1809 and 1829.
