Owen M'Carthy, Patrick M’Carthy, and Daniel Doma- were indicted for stealing silk handkerchiefs … ,in the South Main-street ; and at the shop of … Catherine Sullivan was indicted for receiving the property and knowing it to be stolen. After hearing the … was full and satisfactory as to the guilt and identity of the parties—who were notorious offenders—the Jury returned a verdict of guilty, they were sentenced to be transported for 7 years; Cork Constitution, 26 March 1831.
