Convict Notes

Ann Price, sentenced to 7 years transportation for stealing 2 linen shifts, 2 aprons, 2 caps & a silk handkerchief at Gloucester Assizes. She Married Thomas Bryant (Scarborough 1788) on the 31 Mar 1791 at Sydney. Thomas Bryant left Sydney in July 1793 - Ann's husband left the colony on a Pacific voyage, returning to Sydney in April 1794. It is unlikely that Ann and their first child would have accompanied him and no record later than the baptism of their second child has been traced and it is probable that they left the colony shortly after 1795
