19/10/1833 Staffordshire Advertiser Staffordshire, England To be Transported. Robert Suckley, 7 years stealing combs at Stoke-upon-Trent. Robert Suckley was listed as being 20 years old on arrival in VDL. Native Place: Handley. Robert was single, 5'6½" tall, brown hair and eyes. 1835 Muster: Public Works. 30/5/1838: CP 1/6/1838 From a report in the Hobart Town Courier: Robert Suckley received £6 2s 10d, and a Conditional Pardon for his part in the capture of James Regan and his party, bushrangers. 1840: COF
