Convict Notes
On board "George Hibbert" described as age 18 years, could read, Presbyterian, native of Ayrshire, Nursemaid Housemaid, 4ft 9¾ in, ruddy complexion, light sandy hair, grey eyes. Hospitalised on board with pneumonia 2-8 October 1834. On arrival in Sydney, employed as servant to Hannah Goodsir of Botany. Applied to marry convict Edward Alders (Allders) 19 December 1835, and married 9 January 1836 in St Thomas' Church of England, Port Macquarie. Died at Seven Oaks, N.S.W., 27 December 1898 and buried West Kempsey Cemetery 28 December 1898.
