8 Nov 1825. List of Convicts who have volunteered for Melville Island and forwarded by the ship Philip Dundas, 28 Nov 1825. Samuel Williams, per Neptune, Blacksmith, 7 years. ------------------------------------- The Phillip Dundas, Captain Scarvell, is on the eve of sailing for the Mauritius, calling at Melville Island with stores and live stock for Government. She will convey to that settlement 1 Serjeant, 1 corporal, 10 rank and file, 2 women, and 2 children of the 57th Regiment ; and 17 prisoners, 1 woman, and 1 child. Sydney Gazette, 1 Dec 1825.
