Married Jane Sewel 14th July 1843 in All Saints' Church, Sutton Forest NSW. Signed his name Zenas Kinton. They had 4 children: Rebecca 1844, Harriett 1845, Louisa 1849, Zenas 1851. He is buried in All Saints' Churchyard, Sutton Forest NSW. Headstone reads- In Loving Memory of Zenas Kinton died 15th June 1857
