Merope

Embarked: 11 male prisoners Captain Pollock Tons: 311 The barque Merope departed Calcutta 1st June 1834 and sailed via Mauritius to Van Diemen's Land with eleven prisoners who had been convicted in Madras. The convicts were then transferred to the Currency Lass, Captain Taggart and taken to Sydney where they arrived on 11 October 1834.
